Woodmont Golf and Country Club had the pleasure of working with Gary Smith and Forsyth Care, Inc this past June for a Family Fun Day at the Club. The variety of vendors that Gary was able to recruit for the event was great. Additionally, the fun and interactive activities and perks that each vendor provided (i.e. Home Depot’s children’s workshop, Duron’s paint station, etc) – in addition to the great trackless train that Gary supplied at no cost to us – was a great treat for our members and residents. Through the partnership with Forsyth Care, Inc., Woodmont Golf and Country Club was able to host a high-calibre event without breaking our budget. It was great being able to combine resources and grow our event to a level that we normally would not be able to host due to budget restrictions. Our members/residents really enjoyed the vendors and activities and are looking forward to us hosting another event with Forsyth Care, Inc again in the fall.

Our community, Creekstone Estates located in South Forsyth County, has been interacting with Forsyth Care for the past couple of years. We have had 3 Home Services Shows, as well as other community events. Working with Forsyth Care has been so easy. Gary Smith is so professional and so organized. All of the vendors know what to expect from Gary because of his preplanning and his organization. He meets with his vendors before the show so that the layout is already determined when they arrive and are ready to set up their exhibit. It has been a pleasure working with Forsyth Care and I intend to keep this working relationship for many years to come.

I have worked with Forsyth Care on two events in River Green this year, and have been extremely pleased with all the services that Gary has provided. Gary Smith organized both our Home Services Show and our Health Night this summer. Both events were very well received by our residents, and we plan to work with Forsyth Care later this year, as well as in future years.
The Home Services Show was a huge success in our community. Home Depot brought tool box and drawer organizer kits that they helped the children make. I believe they were also responsible for all the free hot dogs my residents ate. There were a good number and variety of vendors, which is exactly what the residents wanted. The train was a huge hit with the children, and Gary’s “admission” of the free tickets collected by visiting the vendors really kept the place jumping. The Health Show was also a hit with residents. Basically, the same things apply as were said above. The vendors were great and the variety was definitely there. As always, the chair massages were the big draw of the event.
After each event, Gary sent me newsletters that I could send to the residents which contained many pictures of the event in question and listings of all the vendors. He was also very gracious in providing me with pictures for our monthly newsletter. I will certainly continue to work with Forsyth Care for our Home Services Show events, Health Nights, and any others that he and I can dream up together.
